Please read this first: Each link below points to a contents page for the stated volume. Each volume is stored as a collection of articles. Each article is a Word doc file: the text of the article with figures and hyperlinks to a word file for each plate associated with the article. The name of each article is based on the author's name. There may be several articles with the same name (e.g. Pantin.doc) and if you download several such you should make sure they do not delete one another. The article called contents in each volume contains all the front matter from the volume and is formatted as closely as possible like the printed page. In general the web contents should be all you need. To find the text corresponding to a numbered page in the printed version go to the bookmark pN where N is the number.
